Our Management Team consists of a mix of competent, committed and experienced people. Allow us to introduce them to you on this page.
Having worked within the care industry since 1994, Helen found that most people want to remain in the comfort of their own home but that some form of assistance is needed to achieve that aim.
Over the years, Helen had a number of personal experiences where she couldn’t find the level of good quality care that she wanted for her relatives and friends. It then became her goal to provide just that, and to ensure that high quality, personalised care is given by carers who come to be an extension of the client’s family.
With this in mind, Helen set up Help and Company in 2008.
Ian Shepherd Dip PCM (Dist.)
Ian is responsible for all of the financial activities of Help and Company, including payroll, accounts, forward planning, etc.
He also acts as a Management Consultant to various medical practices and works with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as both a Practice Manager Specialist Advisor and a Bank Inspector on their regulatory inspections of Primary Medical Services. This includes medical practices, dental practices, out of hours providers, walk in centres, etc.
Ashley is our Care Co-ordinator and has been working with Help and Company since 2018. His role is to support, mentor and supervise our carers and to assist Helen with the running of our home help service. He is also able to provide home care assessments for new clients, and review care plans for existing ones.
All of the staff receive the benefit of the wealth of experience that Ashley has in providing high quality care. He is very passionate about his role, has great emapthy with all of our clients, and endeavours to provide the best service to each and every one of them. He is a tremendous asset to Help and Company.
Amy is the Office Manager and works with Helen and Ashley to ensure the smooth running of the business and the care of all of our clients. She provides administrative support to all of our staff as well as managing the staff rotas.
